2.1. Introduction

The Administration panel allows you controlling every aspects of your board. To access this panel you must log-in as Administrator and click the link [Administration] located at the bottom of the page.

The Administration menu, on the left, gives you access to several aspects of the board. Heach of these administration pages includes a short help tips on the upper right to remind you some important aspect related to this page.

About user's roles

Within the users' community, QuickTicket recognises 3 roles. Each role gives access to additional functions.

  • Members are users (i.e. registered and logged-in users) having the right to post tickets and reply in public or private sections.
  • Staff members are members having the right to edit, delete, move, dispatch or change the status of the tickets. They also have access to 'hidden' sections (i.e. section dedicated to Staff members).
  • Administrators have the same right as the Staff members, but they can also access the Administration pages.

Note that only Administrators can promote a member to a higher rank.
